View this Videotribute Clintwood VA. Welford Dotson age 98 passed away Friday June 20, 2008 at his home in Clintwood VA. He was a life long resident of Dickenson County a member of the Lebanon Old Regular Baptist Church. He was born on June 18, 1910 to the late William and Delphia Dotson. He was preceded in death by his wife Alma Dotson, daughter Jewel, 2 sons Dallas and Billy, and 2 grandsons Jerry Wayne and David. He is survived by three sons: Thurston Dotson of Helena Montana Evans Dotson of Idaho Hassel Dotson of Osburn Idaho Three daughters: Linda Hilton of Clintwood VA June Stanley of Clintwood VA Betty Dotson of Clintwood VA One Brother: Nade Dotson of Clintwood VA 11 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great- Great Grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Grandsons and Nephews. Honorary Pallbearers will be Houston Chester, Jennings Dotson. Family will receive friends Monday June 23, 2008 at 6:00pm In the Mullins Funeral Home Chapel, followed with a song service at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday June 24, 2008 at 11:00am with Curtis Carrol, Elmer Wood, Robert Kelly, Danny O’Quinn and James Kelly Officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Welford Dotson Cemetery located in the Rock house section of Clintwood VA.
