Millard F McCowan age 66 passed away Saturday April 19, 2008 at his residence he was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and attended Millcreek freewill Baptist church and was also a member of the Clinchco fire department. He was preceded in death by his parents Newton and Della McCowan infant son Paul Millard McCowan, one brother and two sisters. He is survived by his wife Marlene McCowan of Clinchco Two daughters- Mary McCowan of Clinchco Kim Dotson and husband Rick of Clinchco Son- Mark McCowan of Clinchco Four Grandchildren- Brandi, Ricky, Victoria and Savannah Three Sisters- Clowene, Margie and Christine Also survived by a Special friend and caregiver Hayes O’Quinn. Pallbearers- Dennis Tipton, Don Jr. Mullins, Billy Mullins, Rick Dotson, Ricky Dotson Jr. Honorary Pallbearers- Robert Taylor, Nelson Charles, Claude Tipton, Roger Tipton, and members of the Clinchco Fire Department. The Family will receive friends Monday April 21, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. in the Mullins funeral home chapel where services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. with Clergymen Mike Rasnick officiating. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday April 22, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the Mullins funeral home chapel with Clergymen Tim Ferguson officiating.
