View this Videotribute Mabel P. Owens age 69 passed away Tuesday February 5, 2008. She was a life long resident of Wise County. she was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents James Luther Powers and Celeste “Hamilton” Powers. She is survived by her husband: Bobby Owens of Pound VA. 1 Daughter: Patty Counts of Pound VA. Brother William (Pig) Powers of Pound VA, Like a Brother Jakey Hamilton of Pound VA. 4 sisters: Italy Marie Mullins of Williamsburg VA, Verda Mullins Pound VA, Rita P. Mullins Monroe N.C. Betty Owens Pound VA. 1 Grandson: Bobby Ring 1 Great Grandson: Austin Sexton Ring. 1 Step Granddaughter: Sadra Hayton 1 Step Great Grandson James Issac Hayton. And a special niece Regina Adkins and 1 future Grandchild. Pallbearers will be Jerry Mullins, Noah Mullins, Tony Powers, Teddy Powers, Robert Owens, Devin Adkins, and Jerry Owens. Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Owens, Leonard Wayne Mullins. Family will receive friends Thursday February 7, 2008 at 6:30pm In the Mullins Funeral Home Chapel. Followed with funeral services at 7:30pm with, Lester Robinson and Stacy Potter officiating. Graveside service will be held on Friday February 8, 2008 at 11:00am in the Powers Cemetery located on the Bold Camp section of Pound VA.
