Phoebe Hall Fleming age 92 went to be with the Lord on June 22, 2008 after a long illness. She spent most of her life in Dickenson County and was a member of Cumberland Church of the Brethern at Skeetrock. She was preceded in death by her husband George W. Fleming, her parents John and Nancy Hall, an infant son Ervin, three sisters, Louise Mullins, Bessie Vanover and Mary Turner. Three brothers, Russell, Charlie and Andrew Hall and a very special grandson Rick Blansett.

Survivors include five sons Perlie (Cathy) Fleming, Earl (Susie) Fleming, Creed (Eunice) Fleming, Kenneth (Connie) Fleming and her loving son Virgil Fleming who devoted all his life taking care of his Mom. One daughter: Dorothy Blansett of Clintwood, two step children Maxie Clayton of Michigan and Clifford Fleming of Kentucky, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted mother and grand mother and will be sadly missed by everyone, but our loss is Heavens gain.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Turner, Eugene Turner, Bradley Blansett, George Fleming, Scott Davis, Aaron Fleming, Robbie Fleming.

The family will receive friends Tuesday June 24, 2008 at 6:00 pm In the Mullins Funeral Home Chapel, followed with a song service at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday June 25, 2008 at 2:00pm with Rev Darrell Milgrim, Harold Rose, Jack Taylor officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Phipps Memorial Cemetery, Clintwood VA.
