View this Videotribute Emily Odessa Counts age 86 passed away Friday August 8, 2008 at Holston Valley Medical Center. She lived most of her life in Dickenson County, of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents Hobart and Flora Robinson, 2 sons Fred and Joel, 1 sister Vea. She is survived by 2 daughters: Diane Sonsa, Tolland Connecticut. Virginia Counts, Clintwood VA. 4 sons: Harold Vanover, Pennington Gap VA Carmen Vanover, Clintwood VA. Leon Vanover, Clintwood VA. Dean Vanover, Clintwood VA. 4 sisters: Inez Boggs, Pound VA. Anna Lee Meade, Pound VA. Thresha Clo Van Pelt, West VA. Cynthia Boggs, Lebanon VA 1 brother: Lester Robinson, Pound VA. 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Nathaniel Vanover, Edward Vanover, Ben Mullins, Jessee Moore and Friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be Red Austin, David Davis. Family will receive friends Tuesday August 12, 2008 at 6:00pm followed with a song service at 7:00pm. In the Mullins Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday August 13, 2008 at 11:00am in the Phipps Memorial Cemetery. Family and Friends are asked to meet at Mullins Funeral Home they will be leaving at 10:45am. Jack Taylor will be officiating.
